guycollection.com: Drupal and ecommerce

Earlier this year I was involved in a very satisfying project: the GuyCollection website is an online shop selling boys clothes for a new company.

The project was design led, and my role was to turn flat designs into a Drupal theme while altering the ecommece module to work in the way envisaged by the designer.

The most interesting part of the project for me was when I realised the design showed checkboxes for each combination of colour and size (and showed availability) while the ecommerce module just had a dropdown list for each option.

In testament to Drupals flexible forms API I was able to create a module which implemented this design without altering any of the original code.

It was also a really good team - credit also to Marek Sotak, Greg Harvey, and Colin Piggott.
